Warranty & Product Limitations

At InStyle Ceramics, we pride ourselves on supplying high-quality products supported by robust quality-control processes.

While we ensure that all goods leave our warehouse in excellent condition, we do not offer a formal lifetime product warranty on stone, ceramic or porcelain tiles.

The following terms outline our warranty position, return conditions, and customer responsibilities.

1. Inspection of Goods & Defect Notification

Customers are responsible for inspecting all goods at the time of delivery or collection.

Any defects, damage, discrepancies, or incorrect products must be reported to InStyle Ceramics within 7 days of receiving the goods.

Claims made outside this period may not be accepted, as tiles are considered to have been supplied in good order.

2. Returns Policy

InStyle Ceramics accepts returns under the following conditions:

  • Goods must be returned within 30 days of the invoice date.
  • Tiles must be in full, unopened boxes, free from damage, and in original saleable condition.
  • All returns are subject to a 20% handling and restocking fee.
  • Customers are responsible for any freight or transport costs associated with returning goods.

Please note:
Special orders, indent orders, discontinued lines or colours/shades, clearance items and custom-produced products are non-returnable under any circumstances.

3. Warranty & Product Limitations

Unless expressly confirmed in writing by InStyle Ceramics:

  • Tiles are not guaranteed against chipping, scratching, crazing, surface wear, fading or shade variation once installed.
  • Variations in colour, tone, pattern, veining and sizing are considered normal characteristics of ceramic and porcelain tiles.
  • Batch or shade variation is not deemed a product fault.

InStyle Ceramics provides no warranty or guarantee in relation to:

  • installation or fixing methods
  • movement, drummy tiles, lippage or substrate issues
  • grouting, sealers or waterproofing
  • ongoing maintenance or cleaning products

Once tiles have been installed, they are deemed to have been accepted in their supplied condition. Post-installation claims relating to appearance or variation will not be accepted.

4. Installation Responsibility

All products must be installed by qualified tradespersons in accordance with Australian Standards (AS 3958.1).

Improper installation, poor site preparation, structural movement, or inadequate maintenance are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered by any warranty.

We strongly recommend that tilers lay out tiles prior to installation to check for shade variation, calibration differences, and suitability for the intended application.
